Dear parents,
my name is Ellen Bente and I work as a socio-educational specialist in the school entry phase at KGS Bell.
As a complementary and cooperative partner in the team at KGS Bell, I am responsible for the holistic support of the students.
In order to give your child a good start, I accompany them especially at the beginning of their school career. A close exchange between you and our educational team is very important.
My focus is on accompanying children in school, development-related or family areas.
In consultation with the cash desk teacher, I will be accompanied both during lessons and in small groups. Areas in which I support the children can e.g. B. look like this:
Promotion of fine motor skills: Here hand-eye coordination is trained, as well as painting, cutting and tying bows. In addition, something is built from building blocks together and numbers or letters are kneaded.
Promotion of visual perception: This is sorted by color, shape or size, given patterns are tracked and continued. But hidden object books are also viewed and discussed together.
Promotion of the understanding of quantities: Here the focus is on comparing, counting and dividing quantities.
I also support your child in the organization of everyday school life, concentration and awareness. The aim is that your child develops curiosity and the joy of learning and maintains it in the long term.
